Is Miley Cyrus Worth Your Time?

Miley Cyrus. What is she good for?

So she can string a little song together with her electronically modified voice... So she can gyrate her little girl hips all around for the starving maniacs... However, I have yet to find a shred of talent or worth in all her pointless career as Disney's favorite piece of ass and advertising.

What happened to real music writing and real talent? What happened to musical passion and creativity? It all seems to be gone, save for a few bands (usually unknown).

Sure the poppy beats are fun, but do you ever really feel when you listen to this music? Is there any meaning behind all the false, preteen sex?

As far as I can see, no.

The music industry used to be run by the talent that fueled it. Now the music industry creates it's own talent as a kind of insurance, I guess.

As Bruce Springsteen sang recently, "This is radio nowhere... Is there anybody alive out there??... I just wanna hear some rhythem."

Miley Cyrus is just cute and fun. She says all the high-spirited, high-pitched stuff you wanna hear, but does she do anything real for ya? You must remember that she is just another product to Disney, and if you think for a moment that they care about her, you're dead wrong.

As South Park satired a few weeks ago, "The Jonas Brothers make little girls' ginies tickle, and when little girls' ginies tickle, we make money!"

I'll just keep on listening to the Beatles until things start to look up.
